At the Zoo

The zoo in winter is nice because no one is ever there so you have it all to yourself.

The penguins are looking at the wall like normal:

The lions are sitting on their big rock like normal:

The sea lion is waiting for his tank to fill up again - it was empty for some reason:

The new baby giraffe is in out from the cold:

And the turtles were chillin':

All was as it should be.

The penguins remind me of construction workers.

"What should we do about this wall here, Mel?"

"I don't know, Hal."

That is so funny- Marcos and I went to the zoo today, and we kept commenting on how nice it was that there was no one there! Some of the animals were not out, but most of them were, and it was a lot more peaceful than it usually is. Plus, we got to see hippos cuddling, and we had never seen that before!
