Is this summer?

It never seems to have warmed up here and we're dreading the winter. I mean, you're supposed to get HOT during the summer and look forward to winter because you are sick of the HOT. But that's just not happening this year.

I think though that we may have an irrational fear of winter since last winter. I hope so. Here's support for our irrational fear. As you can see below last winter we had TWICE the average snowfall for over 100 inches! I hope to never see that again but now we do fear winter...

Our first winter in Denver set all kinds of records for snowfall. We had three snowstorms, three weeks in a row, that dumped over a foot (actually, the first two dumped 2 feet each and the last was closer to a foot and a half). For the longest time it snowed every Friday, but then last year was back to normal. I can only hope for your sake that you don't have two ridiculous winters in a row!

The thing that scares me is that last year had normal temperatures. I thought they were unreasonably cold, but it turns out it was normal. Every other year we've been here was unusually warm! Yikes!
